　　Today is my two months and two days celebration of working in suntrans. This is my first job, and I am very glad tohave it, and to stand here sharing my feelings with all of you.

　　Today my topic is a little bit long, it is,the happy days of my dear little young fellows and me spent together in our companySuntrans. We had numerous happy days together, and every day is memorable. Itis so long that if I share every moment with you, this meeting may last three days or even longer. So in order to give us time to work, to eat, to go homeand to sleep, I will only share three most memorable moments we had together.

　　The first memorable moment for me was thecompany activity held in May by our human resources Department. We played games together and had a great time. That day was my 25th birthday, but that is not the most important reason whyI remember it so well. Firstly, I learned our company’s history, and felt thatit is very difficult to start a business, and thought that everyone in ourcompany is very hard working. Secondly, I joined Maple’s team that day,although we almost lost all of the competitions, everyone was so happy andfriendly and my team made me understood the meaning of the phrase– “team spirit”。I began to understand and like our company after that day’s activity.

　　The second memorable moment for me was the birthday party held in May. I never had such a birthday party before, what’s more, my birthday is the same month as our General Manager Lu, and I felt very honored and grateful. I received a lot of warm celebration words from all of you and a lovely birthday card. I was so moved that day and had the feeling that I am a part of this big family. When I blew off the candles, I made three wishes, firstly, make progress in English, secondly, make progress in Japanese,Thirdly, do my best to become a good translator in Suntrans. I hope my wisheswill come true in the future.

　　The third memorable mmoment for me was The Second Experience Exchanging Forum of Mining Investment 20xx. This is the first time I took part in such a big conference, and I was very excited and willing to do something for it. We did work very hard for this conference, and even asked the Dragon Boat Festival to contribute. This conference gave me a great workexperience and taught me many things: for example how to do advertising and marketing, and a great knowledge in mining industry. The most important is, our young fellows’team work is very brilliant, and I love our company more thanever after this conference.

　　These are the three most memorable moments for me that I spent with all of you in Suntrans, I hope that we can create moreand more in the future.

　　He began to play badminton when he was at primary school. In 20xx, he won his first good medal, which was significant to him, in Guangzhou. Because of that, he entered the Chinese Badminton Team. As he is as old as Lin dan, who is the top one in the world, he is always put into a situation which is not good to him. He seldom beats Lin dan, so he gained a name which is called’千年老二’. In fact, his techniques are comprehensive, but he is lack of passion, the desire to win is not so strong. So he always has misplays. Due to this, he seldom wins the gold medal. I think this is related to his character. He is easygoing and couth; he looks as if he will never get angry with anybody. So this affects him while he is playing badminton. In a period of time, critical voice has come towards him. He is under great pressure. He was not in the best state. But recently he cheers up again. Several days ago, the Chinese Badminton Championship 20xx was held in Guangzhou. I went to see him on Saturday. I was very excited, and I shouted loudly, hoping he could hear me. There is no doubt that he won the game. Before he went away, he waved hand to us, how excited I was at that time! The next day, he beat Li zongwei again and he won the man’s single gold medal. All of us are very happy. After 7 years, which could be a long time for an athlete, he proved himself again in Guangzhou, which is considered as his lucky place.

As a correspondent of the Qingdao Morning News, I visited Dr. James Gilman, the President of the International Committee for Marco Polo Studies in England. In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon’s tooth. This is a true story. /chuzhong/chusan/ 65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure. In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had to leave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one of the teeth from the dragon’s mouth. He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 20xx, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome. When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correct one’s error. Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep an honest mind in everything we say and do. 　　Statistics show that stress comes from every detail in our life . Financial problems , poor health , being laid off may be the stress that most adults now suffering . As students in the university , we are also under our special stress . While study , having to take various tests and submit a project against a deadline may put a great pressure on us . And the things make us felt stressed may be our parents's greater expectations on us than we could reach . Later , when we are likely to graduate , some other problems will also annoy us . I think we will worry a lot about our ability to compete in the job market and how we can best use what we've learned at college in our future job .

　　The chief problem we should face to is our atitude towards stress le usually say they can not live in the sun except they escape from stress . It's unwelcome ! Yes , however , very necessary . Just image a world where stress does not exist and people lead their life in a very comfortable way . But is this kind of living condition as perfect as we hope ? Without stress , they may feel very satisfied with the current life but lack of power to discover new things . Too much satisfaction result in nothing except a countermarch of the society . No stress , no development . So a certain amount of stress is good . It can stimulate us and increase our level of alertness .

　　And our answer to stress is another vital problem . How to do with ourselves when stress suddenly break into our life ? To wave the white flag and admit our unability , to give up to our ideality , or worstly , just to suicide as to put an end to everything. Of cause not . The principle is to tackle with stress gentlely and harmoniously. We should try our best to release ourselves . Such as to do some exercise , to linsen to traditional Chinese music or classical music to ease our minds and to learn to view these changes of life as challenges 's no use crying over spilt milk . Only to accept what has happened can solve the problem .

　　Ok , I think I was under large stress 3 minutes before , but now I am here and have finished my speech . Here is the last thing I want to add to my topic ,face to it and overcome it ,stress is also a piece of cake .

　　when i was young, i used to be very naughty. life then was like a glaball ,shining with bright colours. i had once gone down to the river bank, catching a great many worms and was afterwards punished by mum. i had ever cut the pillow towel into pieces in order to make clothes for my dolls. similarly, i was then blamed seriously. once i even put the hot iron on the floor which immediately burnt a big hole on the carpet. although i had done so many annoying things, my childhood seemed to be rather colourful. however, i had never had a clear definition about myself. but then something happened. it had made a great difference to my life and made who i am now.

　　i had always been afraid of having the intravenous drop in hospital. the first time i was taken to have the drop, i cried for almost half an hour and finally gave off at father's severe scolding. watching the cold needle stabbing into my skin, i cried even more loudly. at that time, i never dared to take a glance at my hand and always needed my mother to stay with me at my side. even if mum had told me many times," honey, there’s nothing to be scared of. just close your eyes and sleep." i would still keep my eyes wide open, watching the liquid flow through the bottle and never slept.

　　nevertheless, things just happened in a casual way. when i caught a high fever again when young, mum had to send for the doctor home to treat me. i was so sick that i became quite drowsy and then slept. when i suddenly woke up in the afternoon, i found the liquid in the bottle had already flown over ,while mum and dad were not around. i yelled, but finally found it was of no use. so i jumped out of the bed and pulled up the tubule. in the nature of things, the blood came out and dropped along the way i went downstairs. things became different at the time i went down alone. i discovered that i could be independent. i was much stronger than i had thought. looking back on the girl who cried all day, i came to understand suddenly that the strong part of the inner myself had been existing all the time. seeing the anxious mum, i revealed a big smile to her. i could see that mum was trying to hold her tears back and scrubbed my blood on the hand. she didn't know that her little girl had stealthily grown up.

　　since then, i became stronger. as you see now, standing in front of you is a confident and sunny girl. in my grown-up life, i've never cried for being injured no matter how serious it is. i can even go to the hospital alone when mum and dad are on business. i came acroso many difficulties in life, while i've never thought of giving up. thanks to that extraordinary experience at my age of ten, i discovered a person inside myself who has been so important and unique to me. just like what dad had told me before, "people are like tea bags—you have to put them in hot water before you know how strong they are."

　　First， I would like to know， what does your destiny offer you？ Happiness， wisdom， a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon， he would probably had said，”O(jiān)ur destiny offers not the cup of despair， but the chalice of opportunity.”

　　Needless to say， one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 20xx Olympic Games. Till now， we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen？ New roads， new subway lines， public—exercising equipments with beautiful colors， large blocks of grass fields， and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.

　　Other than those， there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example， more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly.

　　And the games will also do good to the economy and environment， for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more， Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances， could you even imagine us losing the holding rights？

　　I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question， ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you？”

　　For us， I mean the Chinese youth， 20xx Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship， and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey！ Come here and take the helm！ ”How charming his voice is， but we have never heard of it in our true life.
